"Next month, first self-delivery from factory to customer..." - Elon Musk (@elonmusk)
■TESLA TSLA 0.00%↑ ($358.43, +0.43%):
- Per Elon, "For the past several days, Tesla has been testing self-driving Model Y cars (no one in driver’s seat) on Austin public streets with no incidents. A month ahead of schedule. Next month, first self-delivery from factory to customer."
- According to a Bloomberg, the 12th of June is the launch date for Robotaxi in Austin, Texas. They claim this was discussed internally within Tesla. Bloomberg cites a person familiar with the matter who requested anonymity due to the private nature of the information. This has not been confirmed or denied by Tesla.
- Jill Daniel, Founder and CEO of Estuary Power, celebrated a major milestone as the company received its first Megapacks. They successfully energized the 185 MW Escape Substation and Phase One of the Escape solar array this week. Per Jill, "Thank you to Bechtel, Dashiell, and Tesla for all of your hard work to get to this point. I am so proud of our Estuary Power team and look forward to commercial operations soon!"
- Tesla on ending the Federal Energy Tax Credits, "Abruptly ending the energy tax credits would threaten America’s energy independence and the reliability of our grid - we urge the senate to enact legislation with a sensible wind down of 25D and 48e. This will ensure continued speedy deployment of over 60 GW capacity per year to support AI and domestic manufacturing growth."
Per Elon, "There is no change to tax incentives for oil & gas, just EV/solar..."
- bkWorld (@bkworldofficial) has opened their 2nd Tesla Supercharger Lounge in France. This one is located in Sénas, strategically located on Route nationale 7, les Saurins. Per bkWorld, "This site marks a milestone. For the first time, we're introducing our fully automated Robotic Store. Users can select snacks, drinks, and convenience items at a digital terminal – a robotic arm then picks the products and delivers them contactlessly to the customer. Fast. Hygienic. Convenient – and an entirely new kind of customer experience."
- Suhaib Patel, EV Charging & Utilities Infrastructure Project Manager at EG On The Move, announced the opening of their 39th Branded Tesla Supercharger. It is located in Birmingham, Tyseley, UK, and has 8 Tesla V4 Superchargers.
- Tesla Australia introduced a new $3,000 Trade-in Bonus incentive for the Model 3. This promotion will last until the 30th of June.
- Michael Campbell, Chief Executive at RA Power & Light, oversaw the deployment of a Megapack to power a 255,000-square-foot cold-chain logistics facility. Per Michael, "Thanks to our strategic partners and friends at Energy ToolBase and the team at Tesla, working to collaboratively develop this exceptional modern microgrid."
- Pension fund leaders holding 7.9 million TSLA shares urged Tesla’s board in a Wednesday letter to mandate Elon dedicate at least 40 hours per week to the company. They cited stock price volatility, declining sales, human rights concerns, and a declining global reputation. The group also demanded a clear succession plan, limits on directors’ external commitments, and stronger board independence as Tesla plans Elon’s next compensation package.

â– NEURALINK: N/A...
â– STARLINK:
- Today, SpaceX's Starlink Global Director of Licensing and Development, Sam Turner, met and briefed Lebanese President Joseph Aoun on the negotiations between the company and Lebanon’s Telecommunications Ministry. Per Aoun, "Turner presented Starlink's most prominent benefits in enhancing satellite internet service, which will positively impact the work of industrial, commercial, banking, and educational institutions, as well as government departments and institutions." Lebanon’s Telecoms Minister, Charles Hage, also met with Aoun to update him on the progress.
- ITN/ITV News delivered a five-hour live pool link for broadcasters from the Liverpool FC open-top bus parade via Starlink! It was a last-minute setup, mobile networks were overloaded from 750,000 attendees, heavy rain, and restrictions on attachments and power. They broke out their Starlink and went to work. The LFC media team used the Starlink to send pictures and access social media platforms while the broadcast took place. Per Jamie Beard, "The Starlink took the load. I was impressed with the system and delighted it performed so well."
â– X:
- X's Angela Zepeda (@angelamzepeda) was on Jon Evans's (@UncensoredCMO). She speaks Elon, what it's like being X's first global head of marketing, the everything platform vision, fixing their brand safety issue, and how Grok is going to be the most powerful AI. Link in the sources section.
- X's Joêlle Yazbeck (@YazbeckJoelle) and Nikita Ramirez (@nikitaxramirez) at the X Middle East and North Africa office (@XMENA).
- P4mui (@P4mui) had stated X would been pausing encrypted DMs. Yesterday, X did just that. "Starting today we will be pausing the encrypted DMs feature while we work on making some improvements. You will still be able to access your encrypted DMs, but won't be able to send new ones." It is assumed this is in anticipation of XChat.
- Per X's Evan Dolgow (@evandolgow), "You’re working late and so are we. Time to lock in."
- X rolled out an update that strengthens Community Notes anomalous rating volumes. If a would-be Helpful note receives a significantly lower score without ratings from anomalously high volume raters, the note will be shown as a preview to gather more ratings from a wider range of contributors. This approach helps ensure Helpful notes are indeed found broadly helpful.
â– xAI:
- Yesterday, Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn (@MarshaBlackburn) met with xAI's Brent Mayo (@BrentM_SpaceX) at Colossus 1 in Memphis and the build site for Colossus 2. Per Marsha, "There’s nowhere better for business than Tennessee, and that’s why xAI chose Memphis for the largest AI supercomputer. It was great to tour the facilities and hear about how xAI is creating hundreds of jobs and partnering with local businesses to invest in Memphis."
- After Telegram CEO Pavel Durov (@durov) posted that xAI had agreed to a partnership. Elon replied, "No deal has been signed." Of which Pavel replied, "True. Agreed in principle, but formalities are pending." This is the 2nd time in as many weeks that some has posted a deal that has not been secured. First it was Kalshi and now Telegram.
â– DOGE:
Estimated Savings: $175 Billion
Amount Saved Per Taxpayer: $1,086.96
- Per Elon, "As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President Trump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending. The DOGE mission will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government."
- As stated earlier, Steve Davis, Elon's president of The Boring Company, is also departing from his role due to the limitations of special government employees being allowed to serve 130 days in government per year. Steve is expected to focus on TBC and other Elon priorities.
- It is being reported that Katie Miller (@katierosemiller), wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, has left her role as a top adviser and spokesperson for DOGE to work full-time for Elon taking a lead on communications, including arranging interviews in connection the latest Starship launch.
â– ELON NEWS:
