■ TESLA TSLA 0.00%↑ ($295.14, +3.67%):
- Giga Berlin announced they have produced their 8 millionth vehicle!
Per Tesla's Hrushi Kesh (@hrushikesh2808), "Congratulations to our global manufacturing teams at Giga Shanghai, Giga Berlin, Giga Texas, Giga Nevada, and Fremont for reaching a significant milestone - the production of the 8 millionth robot on wheels! This achievement showcases our commitment to accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. Kudos to all involved in this remarkable accomplishment!"
- In Spain, Tesla Malaga has a new Popup store.
- Tesla introduced a 0% APR incentive for new Cybertruck orders in the U.S. if you include the purchase of Full Self-Driving (FSD), currently $8k. This is actually cheaper than purchasing it with the standard 5.54% APR without FSD over a 60-month loan term. You must take delivery by the 30th of June.
- Tesla launched a dedicated webpage for FSD. They revealed that FSD (Supervised) has been driven over 3.8 billion miles and is 54% safer than human drivers when engaged. It is trained on data equivalent to over 100 years of real-world driving scenarios from Tesla's fleet of over six million vehicles.
- According to DFWCleancities.org, 7 Tesla Semis have been registered in Tarrant County, Texas, under zip code 76106; Fort Worth. It does not say who registered them. Thanks to my subscriber Brian Loftus (@briandloftus) for this information.
- In Thailand, Tesla vehicle registrations increase 1,035% from April to May.
- Tesla received approval from the City of Marion council in South Australia to build the highly contested battery recycling and repurposing facility, showroom, and service center at Tonsley. The facility will recycle Tesla lithium-ion batteries and possibly Powerwall batteries and is expected to create 100 local jobs.
- Tesla Account Manager Astrid de Laat and Team visited the Allianz Financial Group in Munich, Germany, with two Model Ys and a 3 so lease drivers from Allianz got the chance to experience vehicles. Per Astrid, "Through this collaboration, we make choosing a new lease car easier and more sustainable."
- Clearway Energy Group has ordered 490 MW of Megapacks to provide 1.4 GWh of storage capacity for its Honeycomb portfolio. Honeycomb is four individual 80 MW battery energy storage systems in Utah. This is a $440 million deal to enhance grid stability. Delivery is expected in 2026.
- Today, Tesla Netherlands opened its thirteenth sales and service center in Goes, near the North Sea. The grand opening event had a Foundation Series Cybertruck and DJ. H/T Esther Rebers (@EstherRebers).

■ SPACEX:
- Yesterday, Elon decommissioned Dragon... and then recommissioned Dragon... Any way...
- Today, Super Heavy Booster 16 successfully performed a 33 engine static fire!
- The 176-page SpaceX Starship-Super Heavy Cape Canaveral Space Force Station Environmental Impact Statement details plans to transform Space Launch Complex 37 (SLC-37) into a Starship launch site, including two new towers. The maps attached give you the layout of the site and its location on the Cape. If and when approved, SpaceX would launch Starship-Super Heavy from SLC-37 up to 76 times per year. This would also include 76 Starship static-fire tests, 76 Super Heavy static-fire tests, 76 Super Heavy landings, and 76 Starship landings. Link is in the sources section. Other sites, like Space Launch Complex 50 (SLC-50), an undeveloped area between SLC-40 and SLC-37, were considered, but due to the high potential for endangered species and archaeological sites in these areas, they were excluded.

- New video by Starship Gazer (@StarshipGazer) of the new Linde Air Separation Plant under construction in Brownsville to supply Starbase with Liquid Oxygen, Liquid Nitrogen and more.
- SpaceX's Dan Huot (@danhuot) shocked the world yesterday... "I try to never weigh in on stuff like this, way too many emotions tied up into being right and the other person being wrong. But I'm worried about what it means for future generations if they grow up believing something that just isn't true. So here we go: it's Pad 2. It's not Pad B, it's always been Pad 2 and I'm sorry if this hurts..." Dan is obviously playing off of the Elon Trump drama and is referring to Starbase's launch towers. I guess I will stop calling it Pab A & B...😆

■ NEURALINK:
- Per Neuralink's DJ Seo (@djseo_) on the Elon and Trump feud. "It takes extreme courage to do what others are afraid to do, to risk everything for the sake of doing what is right. I’ve seen Elon do this consistently over the past 8+ years of working with him. Why would anyone not support speaking out against America going bankrupt?"
■ STARLINK:
- Starlink is now available in Dominica.
- Today, SpaceX received a Commercial Operations license from India's telecom ministry. The approval makes Starlink the third company licensed alongside Eutelsat's OneWeb and Reliance Jio. SpaceX now needs a separate license from India's space regulator which it is "close" to securing. They must also demonstrate, through testing and trials, that Starlink meets the security rules they have signed up for.
- Starlink announced they are providing one month of free internet service to new and existing customers in Canadian regions impacted by wildfires. This includes Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan, where over 33,000 people have been displaced since mid-May. Active users will receive automatic credits. Paused or canceled accounts can reactivate with the credit. New users must contact Starlink support. And free kit replacements are available for damaged equipment.
■ X:
- X has revised its developer agreement to explicitly prohibit third parties from using its API or content for training AI models. This is a shift from its October 2024 policy that permitted such use unless users opted out via privacy settings. This change bans developers from actions like "training or fine-tuning any machine learning or AI models" with X data. X may be eyeing exclusive licensing deals, similar to Reddit’s, to monetize its data, while still allowing Grok to leverage user content for training. This would protect Grok’s competitive edge while restricting developers’ access.
- Today, X announced a partnership with Polymarket (@Polymarket) as its official prediction market partner to enhance forecasting accuracy on the platform. Polymarket is one of, if not the, best at aggregating diverse perspectives into a single probability metric. Per the X Business account, "In a sea of noise, prediction markets deliver clarity through a single, powerful signal: price."
Per Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan (@shayne_coplan), "Proud to announce Polymarket’s partnership with X and xAI as their Official Prediction Market Partner. The two top truth seeking apps on the internet are stronger together. Welcome to News 2.0. Stay tuned."
- X Japan's mystery announcement from yesterday was a promotional stunt for Disney's live action Lilo & Stich movie. Stich stole the X logo from their banner. After a certain amount of reposts from their promo post, Stich put it back.
- Aaron (@aaronp613) found that X Money will have Daily, Weekly, and Monthly limits with the ability to request higher limits.
- X Chat is now enabled by default for all iOS users. Plus if you take a screenshot the other person will be informed. H/T P4mui (@P4mui).
■ xAI:
- According to Morgan Stanley, xAI anticipates $1 billion in gross revenue by the end of 2025, projecting $14 billion by 2029. Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) expected to reach $2.7 billion in 2027 and $13.1 billion in 2029. Morgan Stanley is committing at least $50 million to a $5 billion debt sale. xAI spent $2.6 billion on capital expenditures and plans $18 billion for data center investments. They are seeking a $113 billion valuation through a $300 million share sale.
■ DOGE:
Estimated Savings: $180 Billion
Amount Saved Per Taxpayer: $1,118.01
- Yesterday, @WallStreetApes claimed that two former General Services Administration (GSA) employees, who retired early due to the DOGE incentive, were rehired as government contractors, maintaining their original positions and increasing government costs. DOGE responded stating the claim was untrue in this specific case, as the company involved denied it. DOGE also announced a broader investigation into such practices, amidst efforts under the Restore Merit to Government Service Act to prevent insider appointments and ensure merit-based hiring.
- DOGE and the U.S. Department of Education are tackling a $1 billion annual fraud in federal student aid, where international crime rings use stolen SSNs and chatbots to fake online community college enrollments. This siphons 20% of enrollments and diverts $120 billion in Pell Grants and loans meant for low-income students. Starting next week, mandatory identity checks for first-year aid recipients will be enforced, with a technology-based solution planned for deployment before the 2026 loan season.
