- Kazakhstan's Minister of Digital, Innovations & Aerospace, Zhaslan Madiyev, with SpaceX's Market Activation Team of Rebecca Slick Hunter, Lauren Dreyer (@laurendreye ), and Ryan Goodnight (@ryangoodnight) have announced Starlink is officially launching in the country. The agreement ensures continued connectivity for nearly 2,000 rural schools previously connected through a Starlink pilot project, that was set to end on January 1, 2026. This will prevent thousands of students from losing internet access. Per Zhaslan, "I’m pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with SpaceX to officially launch Starlink satellite internet services in Kazakhstan for citizens, businesses, and government agencies in Q3 of this year."
- The Starlink helicopter kit created by Bryan Moore and his Team at Terrible Herbst Motorsports and DriveMedia, are showing up all over the world. ■ xAI:
- xAI's Colossus Lead Brent Mayo (@BrentM_SpaceX) visited the PURE Youth Academy where he was able to encourage the students to pursue the welding trade. While there he helped the students repair a cemetery sign near the Colossus 2 data center. Per Brent, "Hard work and humble beginnings have been critically important to me personally. With that backdrop, I do focus my personal time on kids who may not want to sit behind a computer all day (might sound counterintuitive), who may not see a clear way out of their situation, or have had missteps (what kids haven’t) but when you can teach those younger kids how to be a positive, contributing member of society and make a good living for their family with something that’s required for the very foundation of our country, it’s (without a doubt) one of the most rewarding things I am fortunate enough to do."
Great outreach and very inspiring career by Brent. I want to give a special tip-of-the-hat to Cushman & Wakefield VP and Cybertruck Enthusiast, Kemp Conrad (@kempsuper9) for setting this up.
